Dr. Du's Research History

When a Swede professor Tiselius, a member of Nobel Prize
Committee, came to find the next Nobel Prize nominate, the ministry of Foreign Affairs suggested he see the atomic bomb research. But the man said that the creation of an atomic bomb could be learned by a book, he wanted to see how one could manually synthesize protein insulin. Subsequently,
Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology was nominated for the Nobel Prize in 1967, but because of the Chinese government's ideology at the time, he could not pursue the award.
Professor Du continued his work in the field of neurobiology and made wonderful success. During the last ten years of 20th, his work has been dedicated to brain research.
